Clinical Care Services

Fully funded by the government and delivered by accredited health professionals.
  • Nursing Care: Wound care, medication management, monitoring chronic conditions, oxygen supplementation, and catheter/stoma care.
  • Allied Health and Therapeutic Services: Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, dietetics, psychology, and more.
  • Nutrition: Prescribed nutritional supplements for medical conditions (e.g., vitamin deficiencies).
  • Care Management: Coordination of care plans, assessments, and service delivery.
Clinical Care Services - Individual Sections

Support for Personal Independence

Services to help maintain daily living skills and social engagement. Participants contribute based on income and assets.
  • Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
  • Social Support and Community Engagement: Group or individual social activities, cultural support, digital literacy, and help with personal affairs.
  • Non-Clinical Therapeutic Services: Remedial massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, osteopathy, and diversional therapy (when clinically appropriate).
  • Respite Care: Temporary relief for carers, including home or community-based respite.
  • Transport: Direct (driver-assisted) or indirect (taxi/rideshare vouchers) transport for appointments, shopping, or social activities.

Assistance with Everyday Living

Support for home maintenance and household tasks. Higher participant contributions apply.
  • Domestic Assistance: General light house cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Home Maintenance and Repairs: Gardening, minor repairs (e.g., changing lightbulbs, gutter cleaning), and expenses for maintenance.
  • Meals: Meal preparation and delivery services.
